Prof. Dongseok Suh

Prof. Dongseok Suh has been in Department of Physics, Ewha Womans University, Korea since 2023 and his research lab has explored the nanoelectronic devices based on the low-dimensional nanomaterials and the state-of-the-art semiconductor technologies. In the upcoming era of artificial intelligence, his lab will focus on the research and development of the nanoelectronic devices for AI hardware accelerator, which will be realized with the combination of nanomaterials and quantum physical phenomena.

Before joining at Ewha Womans University, he had been in Department of Energy Science, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea since 2013 to 2022. And he worked for Samsung Electronics (Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Semiconductor Research Center) for 7 years in the field of phase-change memory and TOF image sensor, and for NanoTech Institute, Univ. of Texas at Dallas, USA for 3 years with the topic of carbon nanotubes. He received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, all in the major of Physics, Seoul National University, Korea from 1992 to 2002.
